"thePOWERofdisINTEGRATION"
There are moments in life when the structures we rely on begin to fracture.
Beliefs unravel. Identities dissolve. The systems that once gave us stability reveal themselves to be fragile constructions built from fear, conditioning, and survival.
This unraveling is rarely gentle.
It can feel violent, disorienting, even unbearable — as though the body itself is struggling to contain the truth that is emerging within it. The self becomes fragmented, pulled between the identities we were taught to inhabit and the deeper truth struggling to surface.
Yet within this fragmentation lies a necessary process.
Integration.
To integrate is not to eliminate darkness, but to confront it. It requires us to acknowledge the parts of ourselves we were taught to suppress, deny, or fear. Only by bringing these shadowed aspects into awareness can we begin to reclaim the vitality that fragmentation once consumed.
This work reflects that painful but transformative process — the breaking apart of inherited structures and the gradual reassembly of a more authentic self.
As Carl Jung observed:
“Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darkness of other people… One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”
Integration is not comfort.
It is the courage to become whole.
